Mickey and Minnie as Cowherd and Weaver Girl – Tokyo Disneyland’s Tanabata Limited Event

To celebrate the romantic Qixi (Tanabata) Festival, Tokyo Disneyland is holding a special Tanabata event from June 16 to July 7. Mickey and Minnie will transform into the Cowherd and Weaver Girl, setting off on a romantic love story under the starry skies of Disneyland, and inviting all visitors to share in this magical time.

Tokyo Disneyland’s annual Tanabata event takes place simultaneously in both parks. Guests can pick up a wishing card, write down their dreams and hopes, and tie it to the bamboo at the Wishing Plaza to pray for their wishes to be granted.

Mickey, Minnie, and all Disney characters will appear in fresh Tanabata-themed costumes for all guests to enjoy. Additionally, the park is offering exclusive Tanabata limited-edition meals, ensuring a sweet and joyful celebration for visitors of all ages.
