Taiwan’s Longest！Baguashan Skywalk Opens to the Public

Zhongli’s new attraction, the “Baguashan Skywalk,” has officially opened. Spanning 1,005 meters, it starts from the plaza behind the Great Buddha of Baguashan and passes through the Great Buddha Scenic Area Ecological Park, the Martyrs’ Shrine, the baseball stadium, the Arts High School, and ends at the National Changhua Living Art Museum. It takes adults about 15 minutes to walk the entire trail.

The Baguashan Skywalk is the longest skywalk in Taiwan. Constructed with lightweight steel framing and featuring a fence-style linear design, it follows the contours of the mountain. The highest point reaches 16 meters, with most sections between 6 to 7 meters above ground. The gentle slope makes it suitable for all ages, allowing visitors to stroll along the skywalk and take in the natural scenery of Baguashan.

From now until August 28th, every Saturday and Sunday at 4 PM, an “Ecology of the Baguashan Skywalk” guided tour will be held at the entrance of the Baguashan Great Buddha Scenic Area Skywalk. Visitors can enjoy the lush green views and a refreshing journey through the forest while taking in the panoramic sights of Baguashan. Additionally, the Changhua County Tourism Guide and Interpretation Association is offering “Mini Trips to Baguashan” every Saturday and Sunday from July 16th to August 28th. The tours start at 8:30 AM at Changhua Railway Station and include guided visits to local attractions in Changhua City. Everyone is welcome to join in this mini adventure.
