Low-cost carrier Tigerair offers luggage discounts on Japan routes

Taiwan’s Tigerair announced that from now until July 31, passengers who purchase round-trip tickets from Taoyuan to Okinawa Naha, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Tokyo Haneda, or Okayama via the official website, and return between August 1 and September 30, will receive a complimentary 15kg checked baggage allowance on the return flight, allowing them to shop to their heart’s content in Japan.

Additionally, for passengers who have already purchased round-trip tickets to selected Japanese destinations, as long as they meet the specified return period, they can log in to “Manage My Booking” on Tigerair’s official website before July 31 to receive an additional free 10kg checked baggage allowance based on their current booking, up to a maximum of 30kg.
