Romantic Night Cruise on Water Buses: Enjoy Stunning Light Displays and Riverside Views

Following the success of the previous summer night cruises, the New Taipei City Government introduced the “Night Cruises on the Xindian River and Tamsui River” from July 25. On Qixi Festival and holidays, street artists will perform live on board to offer couples a delightful, romantic, and surprising boat ride during the summer nights.

The night cruises depart from Huajiang Pier, passing through the confluence at Jiangzicui, where you can admire the illuminated beauty of the Xinbei Bridge. The boats then turn back toward Huazhong Bridge. The 50-minute journey offers enchanting nighttime views along the Xindian River and spectacular light displays on bridges such as Huajiang Bridge, Wanban Bridge, Huacui Bridge, Guangfu Bridge, and Huazhong Bridge.

The Night Cruises on the Xindian River and Tamsui River run from July 25 to September 27. Depending on tidal conditions, 1–2 cruises will be scheduled each evening between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. All tickets must be booked online, with a limit of 45 passengers per cruise. Tickets are offered at a discounted price of NT$100 off.
