Free cosmos flowers to take home at Xingfu Shuiyang Park

The 2.3-hectare yellow cosmos flower sea at Sanchong Xingfu Shuiyang Park is in full bloom, attracting many passing motorcyclists and pedestrians to stop and admire or take photos. With the blooming period nearing its end, to maximize public benefit, starting from today the park is offering free flower-picking for visitors.

The New Taipei City Government allows visitors to bring their own planting tools to Xingfu Shuiyang Park to pick their favorite flowers “to take home,” allowing these lovely blooms to flourish in everyone’s homes and adding a touch of happiness to family life.

The New Taipei City Government also reminds flower-pickers to be cautious of their own safety and that of other visitors when using scissors or other sharp tools. Additionally, as flowers may attract small animals or insects such as bees, visitors should be careful while picking.
