Taiwan's first-ever "Heads of State"-themed tourist factory draws crowds on holidays

Located near the Puli Interchange of National Highway 6, the "Presidential Castle" is a well-known venture by the domestic V捅? enterprise, led by General Manager 按蠛谒尚×┛凇背庀戮拮仕?蛟斓模?and is also a theme park centered around the concept of "城堡" (castle). From the moment you approach its grand architecture, you are immersed in a fairytale-like ambiance. The castle is adorned with magnificent carriages nearby, constantly attracting visitors to ride and take photos, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.

Upon entering the Presidential Castle, the eye is immediately drawn to the huge, imposing chessboard and black-and-white chess pieces set in the grand courtyard plaza. Next to the castle, there is also a lavishly decorated carriage that attracts visitors to ride and take pictures, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Inside and outside the Presidential Castle, there are humorous portraits of the "president" everywhere. The venue also has dining floors where visitors can purchase factory-produced V捅? brand products such as cookies, pastries, and 团? products, among others. It also integrates a variety of entertainment and leisure experiences for families.

Qiu Ding'en, the director of the Puli Presidential Castle, stated that Dà Hēi Sōng Xiǎo Liǎng Kǒu Niu Gā Tang (a famous Taiwanese nougat brand) started in Taipei, expanding from traditional manufacturing into a sightseeing factory and further into the leisure tourism industry. After successfully establishing the Tucheng Nougat Museum and the Daxi Love Story Museum, the brand saw potential in Nantou County’s tourism market and chose to set up the Presidential Castle in Puli. This move aims to transform into a tourism-focused business while striving to attract both domestic and international visitors.

Director Qiu also pointed out that the Puli Presidential Castle features five major themed exhibition areas, including restrooms designed with chess (male) and international chess (female) as conceptual themes, a nougat sales area, a freshly baked goods section, a V捅? brand product exhibition hall, and a recreational area. These areas combine elements of fun, art, food, and shopping, aiming to become a popular destination for visitors seeking a unique cultural and leisure experience.
