Taipei Marriott Hotel has exciting new offerings — the newly opened "INGE’S" restaurant on the 20th floor draws inspiration from femininity in both design and ambiance, breaking away from the traditional stereotypes of barbecue restaurants. In addition to its indoor space, INGE’S also features an outdoor dining area that offers a 270-degree panoramic view of Taipei’s day and night scenes, along with the dazzling neon lights of the city’s skyscrapers after dark, showcasing another beautiful and vibrant side of the “Taipei Riverside.”

Upon entering INGE’S, the first thing you see is the bar area. Diners can choose to enjoy their meals on comfortable sofas or opt for a more private gathering in the exclusive VIP rooms. There’s also the “Grill Show Kitchen,” a spacious open kitchen paired with 26 high-top bar stools, allowing guests to closely enjoy the expert skills of the grill team as they deliver a sensory feast using the primal power of open flames.

To achieve the most authentic and rich flavors, the restaurant invested nearly NT$3.7 million to import the dream grill GRILLWORKS from the United States, which features both grilling and hearth-roasting capabilities. Using cooking methods such as charcoal, fire, and smoking, it locks in the natural sweetness of the ingredients while emitting a subtle hint of wood aroma. The chef’s skill in controlling the flame is also essential, relying on tactile judgment to achieve the optimal heat level.
