Ippudo Ramen, long rumored to open stores in Taiwan, had only ever been talked about without any concrete action—until now. Ippudo President Yoshitomi Yoshitomi has finally announced that the brand is definitely coming to Taipei, Taiwan.

The opening is scheduled for autumn 2017. Prior to that, preparations will include establishing an Ippudo noodle factory in Taiwan to ensure that local branches can serve the most authentic Ippudo Ramen.
