Japan’s best-selling blockbuster hit "Your Name" hits Taiwan theaters

In Japan, the hottest topic right now is the animated film hailed as a “masterpiece” — "Your Name" (Kimi no Na wa)! This anime movie is the latest work from renowned Japanese animation director Makoto Shinkai, telling a tender and moving love story. The story follows a high school boy, Taki Tachibana (voiced by Ryunosuke Kamiki), who wakes up half-asleep to find himself in an unfamiliar room — and in the body of a girl he doesn’t know. Meanwhile, a high school girl named Mitsuha Miyamizu (voiced by Mone Kamishiraishi), far away from him, also wakes up to find she has become a boy. It turns out their bodies have been switched with each other.

Confused, Mitsuha tries to find clues to locate the boy, while Taki uses sticky notes left in the room to communicate with the girl. The two do everything they can to find each other in the real world. Along the way, they get to know one another better and begin to develop feelings for each other. But little did they know, their strange encounter wasn’t random — an unexpected event soon changes all their beautiful dreams...
