The center of Typhoon Aere is located at 20.6°N, 116.3°E, moving slowly from northwest to northwest-west at 6 to 4 km per hour. The central pressure is 992 hPa, with maximum sustained winds near the center at 20 m/s and maximum gusts at 28 m/s. The radius of the seven-level wind zone is 120 km. According to the forecast path, travelers planning to visit Hong Kong in the coming days should also pay close attention to the typhoon’s movements, weather conditions, and flight statuses.
