Combining the concepts of “happiness” and “dreams” in Xinshe, this windmill has been named the “Star Wish Purple Windmill.” With its distinctive shape and vibrant colors, the purple windmill features a music roller where a woodpecker strikes out crisp melodies, accompanied by slowly rotating fan blades, creating a joyful and romantic ambiance. The Taichung City Government’s Department of Economic Development incorporated the representative color of Xinshe to build this purple windmill imagery facility, thus placing the ‘Star Wish Purple Wind’ at the Xinshe Zhongxingling Parking Lot, also serving as the main entrance icon for the Xinshe commercial area.
