Seven Themed Zones & Up-Close Encounters with “DreamWorks Stars” – Macau Ice Sculpture Exhibition Grand Opening

Experience an ice sculpture exhibition that’s freezing at minus 8 degrees Celsius—no need to travel all the way to Harbin. Asia’s largest indoor ice sculpture exhibition is on display at The Venetian Macao from now until July 9. Themed “DreamWorks Experience: An Ice Adventure,” this year’s event features seven animated-themed ice sculpture zones, gathering all-star characters from “Kung Fu Panda,” “Madagascar,” “Shrek,” “How to Train Your Dragon,” “The Croods,” and “Trolls.” Among the most eye-catching attractions are four ice slides standing about 4 meters tall, which draw thrilled screams from visitors as they slide down—an exhilarating experience indeed.

▲ In the middle of the slides is a large ice tunnel, which remains a popular photo spot despite the chilly minus-eight-degree temperatures.

Covering an area of over 1,600 square meters, the exhibition was meticulously crafted by 40 top ice sculptors from Harbin using nearly 6,000 colorful ice blocks weighing a total of 2.5 million pounds. The creation process took around 300 hours. Coupled with stunning lighting and sound effects, the experience immerses visitors in the world of animation. This year also features themed game zones, food and beverage areas, souvenir shops, and interactive experiences to enhance fun and engagement.
