A Taiwan-Japan collaboration, the “Little Red Riding Hood – Train & Candy House Journey” special exhibition, invested with tens of millions of dollars, grandly opened at Huashan 1914 Creative Park on December 23. With six uniquely styled, imaginative healing-themed zones, visitors can step into the roles of the main characters and enter a warm fairy-tale world together.

In collaboration with legendary Japanese illustrator Kato Shoji, this lavishly invested special exhibition of Little Red Riding Hood made its grand debut at Huashan 1914 Creative Park on December 23. Breaking away from the conventional format of illustration exhibitions, it adds more childlike fun and richness. Not only does it redefine the classic characters—making Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf good buddies—but also uses Japanese magazine-style, heartwarming illustrations and storytelling to create a blissful atmosphere. The six dreamy themed zones, crafted with both flat and three-dimensional elements, offer adorable and playful healing-scene illustrations that not only immerse visitors in a joyful ambiance but also allow them to become protagonists stepping into a fairy tale.

The “Little Red Riding Hood – Train & Candy House Journey” exhibition has also specially selected over 100 paintings and manuscript works from Kato Shoji’s 45-year career, among which dozens of original merchandise design sketches are being unveiled to the public for the first time. This allows visitors to not only appreciate up close the creative charm of a pioneer in cultural and creative design, but also capture beautiful memories in the cute and fun settings.
