New Central Taiwan Landmark: The Lihpao Outlet Ferris Wheel Catches the Eye

The Lihpao Group has built the largest leisure resort in Taiwan, the “Lihpao Resort,” spanning 200 hectares in Taichung. Among its attractions, the “Lihpao Outlet Mall,” which is expected to draw in shopping crowds, has been confirmed to begin trial operations on December 24. It is projected that 120 brands and food and beverage restaurants will be on board.

Developed by Japanese firms BAC, PROD, and RICD, the Lihpao OUTLET is designed to match the standards of American Premium Outlets, creating a large-scale shopping and vacation destination. The mall covers a total area of 23,000 ping, with 120 retail units, including 24 restaurants, and is also set to feature Taiwan’s largest food court with 1,000 seats. Inside the mall, there is also Taiwan’s only pet dog park, which is highly anticipated by the public.
The Lihpao OUTLET combines Taiwan’s largest water and land dual-theme amusement parks, the Farglory Hotel Lihpao Resort branch, and Asia’s second-largest and Taiwan’s tallest ferris wheel, the “Sky Dream.” It also includes an international F3 racing circuit, offering everything from dining to entertainment suitable for all ages, and fun to be had both day and night.
