On weekends, many people love to head to Hualien—not only to enjoy its beautiful landscapes and quality time, but also to relax and unwind both mentally and physically. Located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, a business imported larch trees from the United States. Thanks to their excellent adaptation, as autumn arrives, the leaves gradually turn from green to yellow. The vast expanse of golden beauty makes you feel as if you've arrived in Europe. The blue sky, white clouds, and golden trees are reflected in the dreamlike lake surface, making this spot known as a fairyland on earth in Hualien.

Transportation Info:
By car – Take Highway 9. When you’re close to Donghua University, pass the Taiwan Sugar gas station and continue straight. After seeing the Uni-President Mart on the left, turn right onto Pinghe Tribe Contact Road to arrive.
By train – Get off at Zhixue Station. After exiting, turn right at the traffic light, then turn left after seeing the Uni-President Mart to enter Pinghe Tribe Contact Road. (about a 20–30minute walk, or about a 3minute drive)
