The Ghibli Special Exhibition Moves to Taichung – Here’s Where to Spot No-Face on the Bus

The much-anticipated exhibition of 2017, “The World of Ghibli Animation Exhibition,” is making its debut in Taichung. Following five years of discussion and preparation, this comprehensive collection of Hayao Miyazaki’s masterpieces, “The World of Ghibli Animation,” which sparked an exhibition craze in the summer of 2016, will officially open at the Greater Taichung International Expo Center on January 7, 2017.

Whether it’s the treehouse from Totoro, the bakery where witch Kiki stays, the flying island of Laputa, or the bathhouse where Chihiro works… you don’t have to go to Japan to immerse yourself in the joyful and moving world of Ghibli animations. This rare opportunity allows you to experience it all in Taiwan. The exhibition will be grandly held at the Greater Taichung International Expo Center from January 17 to April 16, 2017. Everyone is welcome to step into the world of Ghibli and relive the joy and emotion brought by these animated classics.

Additionally, the Ghibli specialty store “Acorn Republic” is expected to remain open until November 21. Visitors can stop by anytime to take the bus, and there are also plenty of popular merchandise items on display and available for purchase.
