Due to the significant impact on local tourism following the passing of the Thai King, the Thai Cabinet meeting on the 22nd approved a tourism stimulus policy. It was decided that from December until February next year, visa fees will be waived for three months, and the on-arrival visa fee will be reduced from 2,000 Thai baht to 1,000 Thai baht. The discount applies to as many as 19 countries, with Taiwan also included in the list of beneficiaries.
