In London, the famous shopping street — Regent Street, known for its stunning Christmas lights, has been hosting the Regent Street Christmas Lights event since 1954, making it one of the largest and most iconic Christmas light displays in the city. This year, the highlight is an eye-catching angel-shaped light installation suspended above the street.

This year’s Christmas celebration aims to recreate the magic of the very first lights switch-on in 1954, featuring a grand Christmas parade and festive decorations that bring the spirit of the season to life along Regent Street. The lights will be officially switched on on November 17, stretching from Regent Street, through St. James’s, Piccadilly, Oxford Circus, to Waterloo Place, ushering in a dazzling festive atmosphere in central London.
