Currently, the matcha latte available at a well-known chain beverage store, which was initially only sold in central Taiwan, drew complaints from many people in the north. Now that the matcha latte has been launched, however, only a few counties and cities (Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Miaoli, Taichung, Nantou, Changhua, Yunlin, Chiayi, Penghu, Kinmen) are included in the first wave of availability, and other regions may have to wait a bit longer.

The combination of white fresh milk and light green matcha creates a beautiful gradient that many people love. Although some customers have complained that the actual taste differs greatly from their expectations, sparking criticism, the company responded by explaining that sweetness levels greatly affect how the matcha flavor comes through. They also recommended that the best drinking choices are at eight-tenths sweetness or 60% sweetness.
