This year, in order to create a strong festive mood, the Tainan City Government has planned seven major light zones, lighting up every corner of Tainan City.

The theme of this year’s Christmas light festival is "Galaxy Christmas." The exhibition across the seven major light zones corresponds to viewing the entire Greater Tainan area as a cosmic galaxy, where each administrative district—big or small—is like a planet in the galaxy, shining brightly, illuminating and complementing one another, echoing the warmth and liveliness of the holiday season. The galaxy also symbolizes sending blessings and joy through twinkling starlight to every household in Tainan City and to every visitor, hoping to bring abundant blessings and happiness at the turn of the year for the new year ahead.
