China Airlines Launches 2017 Dawn Flight to Greet the New Year’s Sunrise at High Altitude

To welcome the first light of the new year, many people have already planned various activities—heading to the beach to watch the sunrise or viewing the dawn amid the sea of clouds in the mountains, both of which are refreshing experiences. In addition, some are scrambling to book dawn flights to enjoy the first sunrise of the new year from high altitude. On the 29th, China Airlines announced that its 2017 Dawn Flight will once again take off romantically. China Airlines Flight CI 2017 will depart on New Year's Day, flying to the eastern coast of Taiwan to admire the beautiful sunrise, before continuing on to Hong Kong for an exciting two-day trip.

This year’s dawn flight is jointly planned by China Airlines and the Hong Kong Tourism Board. Not only can passengers enjoy the new year’s dawn from high altitude, but they can also fly to Hong Kong for a romantic two-day, one-night journey. The flight is scheduled to arrive in Hong Kong at 08:15 AM. Passengers will first head to a hidden gem in Hong Kong, the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin, to enjoy a premium buffet brunch as their first meal of the day. The hotel features Hong Kong’s only white church and horse-drawn carriages full of European charm, offering couples a perfect spot for dating and photography to create the most romantic memories.
