Garden landscaping & pressed flower art – Taipei Rose Garden is perfect for photos everywhere

One of the most romantic spots in Taipei features the secret rose garden beloved by The Little Prince. Located in the New Exhibition Area of Taipei Expo Park, Taipei Rose Garden is a dreamy urban garden with over 600 varieties of roses, featuring Versailles-style landscaping and dazzling blooms in full splendor—perfect for capturing beautiful, elegant photos anywhere.

Rose gardens are usually at their peak in spring and autumn, but due to seasonal factors and typhoon damage this year, the roses will only begin blooming around December. As a result, this autumn rose exhibition has been postponed to December 2nd due to Typhoon Megi, and will be held in collaboration with the Pressed Flower Art Association, showcasing 32 award-winning pressed flower works.

Pressed flower art preserves the fleeting life of plants, transforming their beauty into something eternal. These pressed flower works will be displayed in the Heritage Botanical Garden of the New Exhibition Area, blending plant elements with art across disciplines, with the hope of attracting more amateur artists to exhibit their works in the future. The venue will also feature diagrams explaining the pressed flower creation process, and on December 2nd at 1:30 PM, a pressed flower art workshop and explanation session will be held—welcome to join the DIY creativity on-site.
