Running in yukata to the Sichongxi Hot Spring Festival offers plenty of highlights

This year’s Sichongxi Hot Spring Fun Run features a yukata theme, with local snacks provided along the way, offering runners across the nation an authentic hot spring experience. Registration includes a Sichongxi Hot Spring Festival-themed yukata, a full admission ticket to the Glass Suspension Bridge, Congbao’s love-for-hot-spring flip-flops, Congbao’s travel-loving drawstring backpack, and an exclusive finisher’s medal. Additional perks such as discounted resort hotel stays are also available.

The fun run starts at Sichongxi Hot Spring Park, runs along County Highway 199 and the embankment path outside Sichongxi, then turns back at Shimen Battlefield. The return journey passes the public bathhouse and the old hot spring street, ending back at Sichongxi Hot Spring Park. Participants in yukata engage in interactive challenges and games at various checkpoints, featuring Sichongxi Hot Spring Festival-related food and fun activities. The total distance is 8 kilometers.
