The Miaoli Mount Fuji towers into the clouds, its twin peaks overlooking pastoral scenery

Located in Tongluo Township, Miaoli, there is a scenic spot called Shuangfeng Mountain, one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Miaoli. With its prominent landform, it was once known as Miaoli Fuji during the Japanese colonial period, and for that reason, the Tongluo Elementary School at the foot of the mountain was then called Fuji Public School. This is a great spot to overlook the mountain’s beautiful scenery, offering a nearly 180-degree panoramic view of the surrounding peaks and a view down over the Tongluo pastoral landscape. During the tung blossom season, you can also enjoy the beauty of the blooming flowers.

Transportation Information:
Public Transport – Take the train to Hsinchu Tongluo Railway Station → Transfer to Hsinchu Bus (5658 Miaoli–Xinjilong) → Get off at Tongluo Industrial Park Station and walk about 20 minutes.
By Car – Exit at Tongluo Interchange on National Freeway 1 and enter Tongluo downtown area → Follow Provincial Highway 13 southbound (toward Sanyi direction) → Head toward Tongluo Industrial Park until you reach the trail entrance.
