Aeon launches new chocolate products again, netizens: We must grab them this time!

At the end of 2017, Aeon launched a limited-time "Aeon x Hershey’s Winter Limited-Edition Dessert Collaboration," which sparked a buying frenzy among consumers. Today (the 19th), Aeon has rolled out its second wave of promotions, introducing five new products for customers — sure to trigger another wave of consumer rushes.

The Aeon x Hershey’s Winter Limited-Edition Dessert Collaboration, launched on December 8, has sold 1.9 million units to date. Upon release, the products caused such a shopping craze that some netizens reportedly lined up early in the morning at stores for restocks. The top three best-selling items in the first wave were the Classic Chocolate Pineapple Puff, the Rich Chocolate Classic Chocolate Pastry, and the Classic Chocolate Pudding. Among them, the Chocolate Pastry sold out instantly upon launch. However, the Ice Cream Roll and Mini Toast were temporarily unavailable due to supply shortages but have now returned to normal stock levels. All these popular items are still available.

The Christmas-limited (December 15 – January 4) Japanese Strawberry Mochi and Strawberry Custard Cake sold 100,000 units in just 21 days. The Japanese Strawberry Mochi received especially high praise, with many netizens lamenting that they missed out on trying it.

The new products in this second wave include the Classic Chocolate Toffee Dorayaki, Classic Chocolate Two-Tone Layer Cake, Classic Chocolate Muffin, Classic Chocolate Mochi, and Classic Chocolate Brownie. The first four items are priced between NT$30 and NT$42, while the Classic Chocolate Brownie is available by pre-order only, with a five-working-day processing time. The pre-order period runs from January 19 to February 4, and each set is priced at NT$175. This promotional campaign is valid from January 19 to February 8.
