On the evening of December 20, when the final episode aired, discussions were still ongoing. The ending theme song featured the "Koi Dance" performed by the lead actors, Yui Aragaki and Gen Hoshino, which continued to spark a dance craze. Alongside the festive cheer of Christmas and New Year, even the Japan-US Embassy joined in the celebration with this dance. Among the participants was Kumamon, the tourism ambassador of Kumamoto Prefecture in Kyushu, who also made an appearance. The video garnered over a million views within a day of being uploaded.
