The Christmas Light Festival illuminates Kaohsiung’s skyline in Hamasen

The 2017 Eco-Transport Global Festival takes place in Kaohsiung, with a special warm-up event, the “Christmas Stroll Market,” held in Hamasen on December 24th. Starting today, the “Ride the Christmas Bus, Stroll the Hamasen Christmas Market” campaign has also launched. Multiple bus routes passing through Hamasen—including Routes 248, 99, and Orange 1—have been decorated and transformed into “Christmas Buses.” A photo contest is also being held, where passengers can snap pictures on the Christmas Bus and upload them for a chance to win prizes. The public is welcome to take the “Christmas Bus” to explore the Hamasen Christmas Stroll Market during the holidays.

On December 24th, the “Christmas Stroll Market” warm-up event will be held in Hamasen, featuring a farmers’ market where visitors can interact with the popular character “Gao Tongtong,” as well as electric scooter experiences, an inflatable playground, storytelling by “Uncle Fatty,” and more. There will also be vibrant Christmas lights and festive music performances—perfect for a family outing. The public is encouraged to take the Christmas Bus to join the fun. Starting today, the Christmas Bus will run along Routes 99, 248, and Orange 1, allowing everyone to soak in the festive Christmas atmosphere in advance and participate in the photo contest by uploading pictures to Facebook.
