International travel from Taiwan is booming, with airlines continuously opening new routes and increasing flight frequency. Coupled with the rise of low-cost carriers, discounted airfares are now a common sight, making travelers eager to book. China Airlines’ annual Happiness Aurora charter flight, first launched in 2015 to wide acclaim, is back in 2017 with the “China Airlines Golden Autumn Alaska — Happiness Aurora Charter Flight.” Scheduled to depart on September 20 and 27, 2017, the 9-hour direct flight to Alaska offers a 9-day, 7-night group tour connecting Anchorage and Fairbanks, two prime aurora-viewing cities. Ticket prices are available at NT$136,900 and NT$109,900.
