Swords Lake Amusement Park Launches Family-Friendly Lunar New Year Activities: Flower Viewing, Exhibitions, and Free Entry

To celebrate the arrival of the Lunar New Year, Swords Lake World is offering free flower viewing and exhibition activities. The 12 Zodiac Garden in the front square and the exhibitions in the Expo Hall are all free to visit upon entering the park. The beautiful sight of flowers and colorful painted 12 zodiac animal installations in the 12 Zodiac Garden; the Expo Hall’s one-of-a-kind exhibition on deities introduces you to the historical background and wealth-attracting tips of five major gods — the Matchmaker, Mazu, Hua Tuo, the God of Wealth, and the God of Literature.

The Expo Hall exhibition has made its debut, featuring five themed zones dedicated to Mazu, the God of Wealth, Hua Tuo, the God of Literature, and the Matchmaker. The “Peaceful Mazu Corner” presents little-known facts about Mazu through engaging and educational content. The “God of Wealth Feng Shui Pavilion” offers money-attracting tips so that everyone can enjoy prosperous finances in 2017. The “God of Literature Creative Academy,” themed around the God of Literature, allows visitors to shop for divine goods, perfect for gifts or personal use. The “Hua Tuo Wellness Tea Stall” teaches you how to maintain health, featuring its special Divine Five Elements Water to keep you healthy and carefree. The “Matchmaker Romance Zone” blesses lovers to eventually find their soulmates.

For flower viewing during the Lunar New Year, head to the 12 Zodiac Garden. A flower-lined walkway created with vibrant blooms is paired with colorful 12 zodiac animal decorations. There is also a simulated installation of the Golden Rooster from Zinan Temple to wish visitors good luck in the Year of the Rooster.

In addition to flower viewing and exhibitions, visitors can spend the whole day having fun at the Sky Park. At the popular Sky Plaza facility, challenge the thrilling Flying Submarine G5, which plummets downward at high speed, exceeding five times the force of gravity, helping you work off that extra belly fat and bingo wings through the Supercar Air Cushion Fat-Burning Battle.

Try Asia’s only VR Dinosaur Coaster, put on VR goggles, and become an explorer traveling through the primeval Jurassic Park. For a safe exit, the coaster will weave through the bodies of dinosaurs, dodge their attacks, avoid falling boulders from volcanic eruptions, and escape thrilling scenes such as being chased by the ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex.
