Hualien now has a dried flower café too！Officially opened in February this year, “Wonderland Café · Wonderland Cafe”centers around dried flowers, combining industrial-style decor with a perfect blend of warm and cool tones; all in-house meals are independently developed—crafted with care to preserve the purity of the food. Not only are desserts frequently updated, but sandwiches also feature oversized portions, ensuring guests can snap beautiful photos and satisfy their taste buds at the same time！

Wonderland Café is located on Heping Road in Hualien City, upstairs from the FamilyMart next to Far Eastern Department Store, and is praised as a “hidden oasis in the urban jungle.” The spacious and cozy interior allows natural light to pour in, illuminating every corner and making the dried flowers even more vibrant and eye-catching, lifting your mood with its bright ambiance.

This floral-filled environment was jointly created by the owner and his friend. By chance, they discovered that the designer’s wife specializes in bridal fabrics and has considerable expertise in dried flowers, leading to the decision to incorporate dried flower elements. This addition balances the originally cooler Nordic industrial style with the fresh colors of flowers paired against gray, white, and black walls, creating a warmer atmosphere.

Besides having a clear vision for the decor,the culinary offerings are also independently developed and cooked. For example, the white sauce used in the pasta is made by the two owners themselves. As for the sandwiches, they focus on generous portions, claiming even men with normal appetites will leave feeling full. Many customers also recommend the “mixed fruit toffee cup,” filled with sweet and tangy fruits for an ultimate feel-good experience.
