The hidden landscape gem, YuLi Wetlands, resembles a fairyland.

Taiwan’s Huatung Valley is home to abundant natural wonders, with countless mysterious sites and hidden spots. With the development of the internet and social media, more and more ecological beauty spots are gradually being discovered. This time, we’re introducing a lesser-known attraction located in YuLi Town, Hualien. This beautiful and tranquil wetland covers an area of about 5.9 hectares and boasts rich ecological resources. It utilizes two ecological ponds to filter, absorb, decompose, and purify wastewater before discharging it into the Shoufeng River. After years of ecological cycling, the ponds have become highly biodiverse, attracting migratory ducks and other bird species that fly from Siberia to Taiwan for the winter. It’s a perfect spot for group trips and family outings.
