The world’s most beautiful floral avenue, the Cotton Tree Avenue, is gearing up for its blooming season.

March is the season when cotton trees are in full bloom. Their stunning blossoms set against the surrounding fields and farmland, bathed in the expansive blue skies, white clouds, and the glow of sunrise and sunset, paint a vibrant tapestry of rural natural beauty. Located in Baihe District, Tainan, the several-kilometer-long Linchupi Cotton Tree Avenue has been internationally recognized as one of the world’s 15 most beautiful floral streets and is the only entry from Asia on the list. From March 11 to April 4 during the blooming season, the Baihe District Office will host the 2017 Cotton Tree Season event along the Linchupi Cotton Tree Avenue. Additionally, traffic control at the T-junction of the avenue will begin on March 4 on weekends to prohibit visitor vehicles from entering the avenue, ensuring a quality flower-viewing experience.

In recent years, during the spring blooming period, Linchupi Cotton Tree Avenue has become a must-visit spot for photographers and tourists. Visitors can not only admire the flowers and stroll along the floral boulevard but also experience rural charm and explore the life, industries, and culture of the countryside.

Transportation Information:
1. By Car – Exit at the Baihe Interchange on National Freeway No. 3, follow Provincial Highway 172 toward downtown Baihe (but do not enter the city), then turn onto County Road South 89 (passing Dade Street and Xiayang Road), and subsequently turn onto County Road South 90. Alternatively, take County Road South 91 and enter County Road South 90 from another direction. (County Roads South 90, South 91, and South 98 form a triangular intersection.)
 
2. Public Transport – After getting off at Houpi Railway Station, transfer to Bus Yellow 10 (bound for Liuxi Li Zhen’an Temple) and get off at Zhen’an Temple Station. Walk 1.8 km (about 21 minutes) through the Tugou Community toward Linchupi Cotton Tree Avenue in Baihe.
