The annual Calla Lily Season at Zhuzihu kicks off grandly on March 24. Many visitors flock to Yangmingshan’s Zhuzihu just to admire the beauty of calla lilies. To maintain the quality of the flower-viewing experience, it is recommended that you take the bus up the mountain and then stroll along Zhuzihu’s unique streamside trails, weaving through the calla lily fields to closely admire their beautiful blossoms, all while enjoying a leisurely and delightful time.

It is recommended that visitors start their journey from the top of Xiaoyoukeng, where the misty Mount Dinghu can be viewed from afar, and walk along the circular streamside trail around Dinghu. The route then takes you past the newly completed Yangming Streamside Trail, where the stream is lined with variously sized stones, resembling a natural mountain stream. Lining both sides of the trail are cherry blossom trees, green maples, and Taiwan acacia, offering visitors moments by the water, winding uphill to connect with the Seven Star Mountain car-free loop trail, as well as shaded forest sections — the scenery is truly pleasant.
