Recently, the outlet of Renyi Reservoir, which has sparked widespread discussion among photography enthusiasts, is situated in Renyi Reservoir, Chiayi County. The surprising natural beauty beneath the drainage channel has turned an otherwise ordinary ditch into a canvas of earth art. Covered in the aquatic fern Azolla, which turns red in winter and becomes even more vibrant in colder weather, these plants are commonly found in rice paddies, marshes, and slow-moving streams. However, such a large-scale display as seen in the Renyi Reservoir drainage channel is quite rare. It has now become a pilgrimage site for photography lovers, who come specifically to admire and capture this rare spectacle.
