Mysterious Crop Circles Land in Taiwan as the UFO Maile Culture Festival Kicks Off

Mysterious crop circles, resembling the spectacle of an alien visit to Earth, can now be seen in Taiwan without leaving the country. The Waipu UFO Maile Culture Festival in Taichung debuted on April 8th in the wheat fields of Sanli in Waipu District. Jointly organized by the Waipu District Farmers’ Association and local businesses, the festival features approximately 60 hectares of wheat cultivation, with 12 hectares located in Sanli—offering a highly concentrated area. In addition to carving crop circles and other symbols symbolizing aliens in the fields, ten nearby schools have painted various alien designs, which are displayed upright in the wheat fields for visitors to take photos. Aside from the spectacular crop circles, the site also offers a variety of activities such as painting, sketching, challenge games, and non-stop live performances. There are also stalls run by small-scale farmers where visitors can experience the charm of the local rural atmosphere.
