The Lavender Forest in Jianshi Township, Hsinchu, a scenic spot renowned for its purple flower seas, has unexpectedly announced the closure of its Jianshi branch after 13 years. With the lease expiring in May, the landowner plans to reclaim the space for personal use, signaling the end of the lavender dream’s continuation and leaving many visitors shocked and saddened. Lavender Forest was not only a great spot for flower viewing but also a tranquil place to relax the mind and body. Many tourists enjoyed strolling through the park, immersing themselves in the fragrance and serenity of nature, letting the romantic lavender blooms soothe their weary souls.

Fifteen years ago, two girls pursued their dream by opening the first forest café in Xinshe, Taichung. They later expanded to Hsinchu, Miaoli, and even overseas with homestays. Their exquisitely romantic forest style won widespread acclaim among travelers.
