Joseph Modot, a seasoned French filmmaker with over forty years in the film industry, presents his new cinematic work 【Artistic Vision of Paris】, featuring outstanding performances by French actress Alexandra Stewart and Cannes Best Newcomer winner André Dussollier. Through masterful cinematography and a blend of avant-garde and lavish creativity, the director tells a unique story about the Holocaust, emotional trauma, and creative repression in a lighthearted and humorous tone.

The film follows young painter Valentin, who, after being abandoned by his lover without warning, becomes lost in a world of fantasy, confining himself to an imaginary realm. Unable to open his heart or connect with others, he sees all of Paris as beautiful landscape paintings—except for his beloved grandmother Nina. The bustling crowds on the Parisian streets appear to him as expressive figure drawings.

As he strolls through his imagined dreamlike Paris with his grandmother, passing one stunning street scene after another, Valentin shares the story of his departed same-sex lover and his own loneliness. To help Valentin better understand himself, Nina, despite the pain of memories, recalls her tragic experiences in a concentration camp during her youth...
