Floating Platform Open-Air Cinema – Free Movies Under the Stars

One of Luodong’s lesser-known hidden gems – the Luodong Cultural Factory, designed by a renowned architect, is widely known for hosting numerous cultural and artistic events. However, there’s a lesser-known secret spot here: the “Floating Platform” suspended 18 meters above the ground, offering panoramic views of Luodong. The Floating Platform hosts a Night Floating Cinema in April and May, allowing visitors to enjoy free movies and night scenery under the stars.

This aerial starlight boulevard has been the setting for many movies, with celebrities having visited this hidden gem. Even Jay Chou’s latest mobile phone commercial was filmed here. The Luodong Cultural Factory, which usually closes at 5 PM, will open the Floating Platform for nighttime movie screenings on four days: April 8, 9, and May 13, 14, offering visitors a free experience of an open-air cinema in the sky.
