2017 Taitung Hot Air Balloon Festival: Spectacular Light Show Schedule Announced

Giant hot air balloons soaring into the sky, spectacular, colorful, dreamy, and beautiful as they glide through the heavens, offering breathtaking views of the valley. The annual Taiwan International Hot Air Balloon Festival will kick off on June 30 in 2017 and run until August 6 at Taitung Luye Gaotai. Each year, the highlight of the festival—the hot air balloon light show—has recently had its schedule revealed for 2017. Unlike previous years when it opened at Luye Gaotai, this year’s first event will take place at 8:00 PM on June 30 at Taitung County Stadium.

As in previous years, this year’s hot air balloon light show will feature six performances, showcasing stunning light displays across various locations such as Sanxiantai, Dapochi, and Taimali. To provide visitors with new experiences, this year’s hot air balloons will present different themed light shows, along with added interactive games and various programs to create more unforgettable memories for fans this summer.
