Two for One Free on EasyCard Travel with Taoyuan Airport MRT

The Taoyuan Airport MRT connects the greater Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan metropolitan area, offering not only convenient transportation that enhances surrounding amenities but also linking key tourist attractions along the route. Passengers on the MRT include commuters, air travelers, and many urban explorers who plan light weekend getaways to roam between Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan, discovering various attractions, shopping, enjoying nature, or simply relaxing. Now, in response to travelers’ desire for easy and enjoyable trips, the Taoyuan Metro Corporation has launched the “Colorful One-Day Ticket Promotion,” making it simple to enjoy a full day of adventure.

The “Colorful One-Day Ticket Promotion” is a limited-time, buy-one-get-one-free ticket package offered by the Taoyuan Airport MRT, including two one-day passes at a discounted price of NT$350 (original price NT$700). The promotion runs from this Saturday (April 22) to May 31, and tickets are available at all station service counters. Tickets must be purchased and used on the same day. Once activated, they can be used any number of times, on any line, and for any section of the Taoyuan Airport MRT before the end of that day’s service. These tickets are not rechargeable, do not include a deposit, and once tapped through the gate, refunds will not be issued. Before tapping in, the full set of two tickets may be returned together for a refund, minus a handling fee of NT$20 per set (two tickets). Lost or damaged tickets cannot be reported or replaced.

Every year from April to May, during the transition from spring to summer, is the season when tung blossoms are in full bloom. In tune with this seasonal beauty, the Taoyuan Airport MRT has launched a promotional campaign featuring tung blossom-themed designs on one-day passes, encouraging visitors to travel in pairs and enjoy a light springtime getaway on the MRT.
