HowToTrip: Korea's 8-Colored BBQ No. 2 Store Officially Opens on April 1st with 50% Off All Day

The popular Korean must-try dish "8-Colored BBQ," which debuted in mid-2015, will open its second branch in Taoyuan City (Taoyuan District). It is scheduled to officially open on April 1st, offering 50% off all menu items on opening day. From April 2nd to 4th, diners can enjoy 20% off all meals. From April 5th to 30th, simply present your Taoyuan Citizen Card when dining to receive either a bottle of Cass beer or a serving of thick-sliced salted pork belly—choose one of the two. From April 1st to 4th, only one table per person is allowed for those waiting in line on-site, and reservations or waitlist registrations will not be accepted that day.

The 8-Colored Korean BBQ uses thick-sliced pork belly as its base meat. Its biggest highlight is offering eight different flavor variations of pork belly: ginseng, red wine, pine needles, garlic, floral herbs, curry, soybean paste (miso), and chili sauce. There will be dedicated staff providing tableside grilling service to cook the meat to perfection. The servers note that freshly grilled meat is more tender, while leaving it on the grill too long will make it tougher, so they recommend eating it right after it’s cooked.
