A must-shoot triangular aesthetic spot: Tadao Ando's architectural hotspot for art lovers

Located at Asia University in Taichung, the Asia University Museum of Modern Art has become a popular destination recently for IG photos, trendsetters, and architecture and art enthusiasts, thanks to its unique architectural style and design. The main structure of the museum is built with exposed concrete and curtain walls. It is Tadao Ando’s first design work in Taiwan and also the first Tadao Ando-designed art museum on a university campus anywhere in the world. Based on the basic design element of an equilateral triangle, it conveys the balance between environment, architecture, and people. The planar equilateral triangle is divided into three floors, which are then staggered and stacked to form countless irregular triangles.
