Sarabeth’s Zhongli Branch Opens on April 27, Introducing Limited-Edition Berry Pancakes

As the opening of Sarabeth’s Taiwan’s second branch on April 27 approaches, the official team has unveiled a Zhongli-exclusive menu item: “Berry Pancakes.” This dessert was personally crafted by founder Sarabeth Levine for the Zhongli branch. Furthermore, the dinner-only new dish “Tomato & Cod Pasta” will be available exclusively at the Zhongli location first.

The strawberry sauce in the Zhongli-exclusive “Berry Pancakes” is made daily by hand-boiling fresh strawberries. Since fresh strawberries can sometimes be overly sour or sweet, the boiling process helps balance their flavors, reducing any conflicting tastes. The berry sauce is then drizzled over a vanilla pancake that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, served together with specially made strawberry cream and whipped cream.

During the opening period, to allow friends in Zhongli to fully enjoy Sarabeth’s classic French toast, eggs Benedict, and more, the full brunch menu will be available all day. From 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the evening, three special dishes will be offered: “Pan-Fried Shrimp Cakes,” “New York Fried Chicken Pancakes,” and the new “Tomato & Cod Pasta.” The dinner-exclusive Tomato & Cod Pasta is an Italian pasta dish based in tomato sauce, with codfish oil sautéed with breadcrumbs to enhance aroma and texture, combining the tanginess of capers with the freshness of cod.

Opening Event
(1) For the first three days of opening, the first 50 groups of customers will receive one complimentary “Floral Fruit Spritzer” per table.
(2) During the first three days of opening, visitors to Sarabeth’s at SOGO Zhongli in Taoyuan who spot and take a photo with “New York Breakfast Queen” Sarabeth Levine, then upload and check in with the image, can present it to staff to redeem one portion of fries. (One redemption per transaction)
