A weather front is approaching across Taiwan, bringing brief thunderstorms nationwide.

A front from southern China is approaching, leading to unstable weather. On the 15th and 16th, the front will arrive and gradually move southward, causing showers or thunderstorms across the country, with a chance of localized heavy rain. During this period, the weather across Taiwan will be affected in succession, with showers or thunderstorms in various regions. Some areas may experience relatively heavy rainfall, along with the possibility of severe thunderstorms and strong winds. Please stay especially cautious.

From the 17th to the 21st, the front will move south and stall over the Bashi Channel. On the 17th, there will still be brief showers or thunderstorms across the country. On the 18th and 19th, there will be brief showers in southern and eastern parts of the country, with localized brief thunderstorms in other regions in the afternoon. On the 20th and 21st, there will be brief showers across the country. With a high probability of rainfall this week, even though most rain will be brief, it’s safer to carry an umbrella when going out.
