The Moving Jungle City Shuttle – Taiwan’s First Forest Bus

Themed “The Boy’s Imaginary Forest,” this forest bus is a collaborative project planned by the Good Relations team and Kuo-Hua Bus Line No. 203. With the masterful touch of Ling Zongyong, renowned as the Eastern master of new floral art aesthetics, and travel artist Xiao Qingyang, the concept has been brought to life. This urban moving forest aims to showcase the beautiful relationship between Taiwan’s plants and floral art. The first forest bus in Taiwan began simulated setup on the morning of May 15 at 9 AM. Operating along Bus Route 203, it officially hit the road from May 24 to May 28.

The Good Relations team was founded by four initiators who are passionate about Taiwan. With the mission of “changing the surrounding environment with one’s own efforts and taking action to make Taiwan better,” they have designed numerous series of projects that resonate with Taiwan’s deeply rooted humanistic origins. The design director of Good Relations believes that any plant nurtured and cultivated in Taiwan serves as inspiration for his aesthetic sensibilities. These include commonly seen elements such as turf seats, bird of paradise flowers, banana blossoms, patchouli, Taiwan quinoa, vervain, wild ginger lilies, bougainvillea, and Taiwanese orchids. Among them, the common guava tree is used to decorate the area next to the driver’s seat.
