Tourists playing at the seaside can also take a side trip to Xmai Fishing Harbor. Aside from enjoying the views of the docks, the most important thing is that they can savor fresh seafood. At the harbor docks, every afternoon around three or four o’clock, fishing boats returning from sea bring in freshly caught fish, which are sold on the spot at the harbor market. Clam Barracks is a 50-year-old historic site with a unique architectural appearance, exuding a strong military vibe and nostalgic charm. The stone monument “Do Not Forget Ju” standing here is built from clam shells, and the bunker at the entrance has been turned into an art village and a seaside eco-recreation area. It is now a popular outdoor photo spot widely shared online, attracting many social media influencers to come and take photos.
