Korea’s Viral Instagram Ice Cream Popcorn SWEETMONSTER Makes Its First Taiwan Pop-Up

The ice cream brand SWEET MONSTER from Seoul, South Korea, is making its first pop-up appearance in Taiwan at the bustling Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A11. From now until June 13, SWEET MONSTER is treating visitors to rich 75% pure milk soft serve ice cream, which can be paired with a choice of popular popcorn flavors such as orange, strawberry, and chocolate. Served in adorable and playful monster-themed cups, the treat not only stimulates the sweet tooth but also offers a stunning visual experience.

SWEET MONSTER was founded in 2014 in Seoul by Dae Cheol Park and is Korea’s first dessert shop operated in the style of an ice cream truck. With an American festival theme, it offers customers the experience of enjoying sweet treats in a joyful carnival atmosphere.

The store is filled with uniquely colorful, original American comic-style SWEET MONSTER cartoon characters, each representing a different dessert, creating a fun American carnival vibe throughout. During its Taiwan pop-up, from Monday to Thursday, specified flavors of “popcorn ice cream” such as strawberry, caramel, and orange are available at a special price of NT$99 (original price NT$120). On Fridays through Sundays, enjoy a combo of popcorn and sparkling drink for NT$169 (original price NT$200).
