The Pokémon train has a brand-new outfit covered inside and out with Pikachu

The cheerful train POKÉMON with YOU is a happiness-themed train created by JR East Japan to aid in the recovery of the Tohoku disaster-stricken areas. It made its debut in December 2012. The train cars are designed with a forest theme and feature more than 100 Pokémon characters. To date, it has carried approximately 40,000 passengers. Recently, JR East Japan unveiled a brand-new car design centered around the main character Pikachu. From the exterior of the train to the interior decorations and furnishings, everything is covered in the iconic yellow and brown café-au-lait patterns, creating a soothing and heartwarming atmosphere. The new design will be launched in July.

皮卡丘翻新设计车厢会于7月至9月的指定日子中驶出，11点01分从一之关站开出，下午2:37从气仙沼站回程，且最早可于一个月前至官网订票。
