Located on the 4th floor of Xizhi’s Far Eastern U-TOWN (Far Eastern Plaza), Show Chef Buffet has been loved by the nearby office buildings and residents since its opening nearly a year ago. The buffet focuses on affordable all-you-can-eat dining, with weekday lunches available for just NT$680 – a great bargain. The food is mainly divided into three sections: hot food, cold food, and desserts. Let’s take a look at them one by one!

Show Chef Buffet features a fully transparent, floor-to-ceiling glass wall with natural lighting, offering views of an outdoor sky garden. The buffet restaurant has three food stations, serving over 200 dishes in total. After your meal, you can even watch staff make shaved ice right in front of you, or enjoy ice cream from Häagen-Dazs or Mobay, along with exquisitely handmade desserts – truly great value for money.

Hot Food Section
The hot food section offers a wide variety of choices, including dim sum, fried rice, hot stir-fries, grilled steak, fried items, shrimp tempura, barbecue, and more. There’s also a section that serves beef soup and hand-pulled noodles. The broth is light and sweet, allowing you to enjoy a taste of southern Taiwan’s breakfast even in Taipei!

Cold Food Section
The cold food section also boasts a rich selection. In addition to basic salads, various dressings, and cured ham, there are chef-sliced sashimi, freshly made hand rolls (with three flavors: shrimp roe, fresh shrimp, and crab meat), a variety of rolled sushi and nigiri, as well as all-you-can-eat crabs and shrimp. There’s even Japanese-style cold soba noodles – the choices are extremely diverse.

Dessert Section
As for desserts, they’re simply outstanding. In addition to a wide range of cakes, tarts, puddings, and cheesecakes, there are also Häagen-Dazs and Mobay ice creams. The chef-made fruit shaved ice is not only beautiful but also delicious, adding a fun touch. Moreover, the restaurant offers a variety of drinks and coffees – you could say they have everything.
