“Make me look handsome!” Taiwanese MRT daily scene wins photography award

Lu Jiabao, currently a second-year student at Zhuangjing Vocational High School, began exploring photography after taking his junior high school entrance exams. He enjoys landscape photography and has built inspiration for his personal creative work through long-term appreciation of works by photographers both domestically and internationally. He also has unique observations of everyday life and during travel.

Lu Jiabao also mentioned: “(The MRT security guard) they really work hard, so I feel that in this crowded city, it often gets packed during rush hour. I want to thank these unsung heroes who direct traffic and manage the flow of people. Although their roles may seem small, they are absolutely indispensable.”
Lu Jiabao’s photography work wins an award, Honorable Mention at Paris Px3 Photography Awards.
Whether it’s natural landscapes or urban scenes, whether grand vistas or alleyway charm, the touching details in everyday and travel moments are worth carefully observing and capturing. Through Lu Jiabao’s work, we also see a different perspective of Taipei’s MRT, along with a subtle and thoughtful sense of gratitude conveyed through the imagery.
